Types of Engagement & Employment

The actual type of employment or engagement for work that we offer someone will depend on the job position and subsequent requirements, which may include one or more of the following:

Full Time

The usual 38 hour-a-week, Permanent or Fixed Term position, with full benefits.

Part Time

Flexible (however agreed upon) hours, working less than 38 hours per week with pro-rata benefits.


Rostered hours of work, perfect for those looking for a second job, or for those wishing to work evenings and/or on weekends.


You will need an ABN and a currently registered PTY LTD company, along with a few minimum requirements (such as, particular insurance cover and vehicle type for example) which depend on the kind of work you’re engaged to carry out.

Subcontractors work under non-exclusive contractual agreements and have flexibility in the type of work they take on, the area they cover, and when they are available to take on work. This position is suited to individuals who like to be their own boss, or small companies with a team of their own employees, who wish to take on work from more than one prime contractor, and/or who only cover a small area.

Please note, subcontractor positions are not just limited to field technician or tradesperson roles.

Positions & Career Options

As a growing company, our requirements for different positions do change and there will always be new career pathways opening up. Here’s just a few of the positions we have advertised for within the last 12 months:

  • Telecommunications Trainee

    No experience? Interested in electronics? Love fixing things and solving problems?

    A Telecommunications Traineeship (registered with the Australian government) takes around 2 years to complete. You’ll be paid while you get on-the-job training and may be eligible for government support to cover your course costs.

    Some basic requirements include:

    • Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or Higher School Certificate (HSC)
    • Australian Drivers’ Licence (C-class Provisional P2 Licence or higher)
    • Demonstrable interest in and knowledge of electronics and communications
    • Willingness to learn and take on challenging tasks


  • Telecommunications Technicians

    On the front line serving our clients are our field techs, who are qualified and licenced Telecommunications Technicians. Also commonly known as phone technicians, data technicians, comms techs, etc. their role is to utilise their experience, skill and knowledge to install, maintain, quote and to advise on cabling infrastructure installations and CPE connected to telecommunications networks, whether they be data networks in an office, or a PSTN carrier network.

    Some of the mandatory requirements include:

    • Certificate III in Telecommunications Cabling and Customer Premises Equipment or equivalent
    • Open Registration Cabling Licence (with ACRS, TITAB, etc.)
    • Australian Drivers’ Licence
    • At least 1 year of Field Experience (with references)
    • Awe-inspiring Customer Service


  • Clerical / Administrative

    Our high-energy, dynamic admin team provides high-quality service to our affiliates, partners and clients, scheduling workflow for the field team, and responding to enquiries.

    Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining and building relationships by phone, email or occasionally face to face with new and existing corporate partners, collaborating with management and field teams to provide timely and efficient quotations, invoicing, scheduling and other requirements.

    As the first point of contact for new customers, mandatory requirements include:

    • Experience in a Client Service and/or Sales based role (this could be retail, hospitality, call centre or office-based work experience)
    • Excellent communication skills and confidence to take a proactive approach to handling client contact
    • High attention to detail
    • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
    • Strong computer skills (training on our custom web-based CRM will be provided)
    • Ability to make decisions and be self-motivated
